Walk Your Dog First
You can make the experience at the groomer easier on both your dog and the groomer by making sure your dog has a little exercise before coming in to the salon. A 15 min walk -and we mean walk, not just sniffing around for a place to pee, will do wonders in helping to keep energy levels low so that dogs can be calm on the grooming table.
We are experienced dog handlers and trainers and prefer to work without muzzles and we never sedate dogs. With a cage-free environment keeping calm and assertive is easier with well-balanced dogs. Part of the the well-balanced lifestyle includes exercise. If you have to leave your dog with us for longer than the groom time, you will be charged a day care fee which includes a walk.
Stuff We Do
Bath and Tidy -The usual request for dogs like Labs, Rotties, and other smooth coated breeds. Nails, ears, foot trim, bath in oatmeal & aloe shampoo and HV dry and brushout.
Bath & Clip- Breed specific clips as well as modified clips depending on owner's wishes.
Handstripping - For the terrier and wire-haried breeds
Dematting - If it can't be done in 20 min we must clip the dogs. Less stress for dogs in the end.
Spa Treatments- Blueberry Facial-good for tear stains and smelly beards
Paw Treatment-especially good for the damage cold weather does to paws
All services are quoted according to size of dogs and assumed coats in good condition. If you have a dog with heavy matting, smelly or greasy coat-or special skin issues prices will vary. Show quality grooms and "pe" grooms will determine clipping prices as well. Please call or email us for a quote.
